The creator of the art

A graduate of the Maritime University in Szczecin (formerly the Higher Maritime School), Od 1990 roku, po ukończeniu studiów, rozpoczął pracę na statkach morskich jako nawigator, a przez ponad dwadzieścia lat pełnił funkcję kapitana.

Alongside his maritime profession, he has devoted many years to independently refining his painting skills, creating works for friends and charitable causes. Although his art was never intended for commercial purposes, his paintings have found collectors across the globe—from China, South Korea, and the Philippines to Bangladesh, Russia, Turkey, Egypt, and throughout Europe, including the United Kingdom, Norway, Germany, Denmark, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, and Bulgaria.

His works were often created under unique circumstances—during long voyages aboard merchant vessels and later in his own studio during shore leave—reflecting his preference for easel painting. While marine art remains his dominant theme, his portfolio also includes still lifes, landscapes, nudes, impressionist and abstract compositions, as well as portraits.

He embraces artistic challenges, including reproductions of classic works, sometimes reinterpreting them through his own vision. His technique often draws inspiration from the expressive style of Vincent van Gogh, while also incorporating traditional, mixed, and original methods. Nie brakuje również elementów tradycyjnych, technik mieszanych oraz autorskich rozwiązań. alongside subtle echoes of Polish masters.

The journey continues—and new surprises are surely on the horizon.
